♡I was made for loving you♡

even though we may be hopeless hearts
just passing through

She laughs and it sounds like little bells ringing, light, high-pitched, most couldn't hear it until they were near by. Jaci thinks what a close call it was, how they could have ended up being a tangle of limbs, both ivory and raven hued, but after a sigh of relief, the danger of running around without paying much attention leaves her thoughts. All she is thinking is of how this day just got so much better now that she had someone to enjoy it with. Jaci was a social butterfly, a beautiful little flower, without social interactions, feeling the love and warmth of friendship, the poor girl of moonlight would wither away to nothing, her petals would close, she would droop. But the sight of the two-toned king with the eyes of a whirling firestorm, makes her heart peaceful once more, makes her smile a little wider upon her pale, dished face.

“I awoke to just such a beautiful day that I was not able to contain myself,” she says in her chirpy voice, eyes of baby blue connecting with his amber hues, suddenly realizing the words he had said. Another man? Jaci had never considered leaving the Inlet, is that what he meant, afraid that she would leave? Jaci doesn't know that there is ways to betray a king than just running around with another guy. She is unaware of how a mare’s belly can become swollen with another’s child. Of course, she wouldn't think of this, how perhaps the arms of another man could mean more than just a friendly, fleeting hug, Jaci was young and so unblemished by the world, the girl of the moon has never known the touch of a man beyond the soft and tame touches of Orkaan.

The girl dressed in moonlight has never given much thought to having children of her own. She felt so young herself and bringing another life into the world hadn't been something she even considered. Perhaps Jaci would make a good mother, she was kind, caring, dove-like, and softhearted. But she was also childish and lacked a great deal of knowledge about what sort of things the world was capable of.

But perhaps one day, we will see Jaci running again with reckless abandon, a small form running beside her, same reckless smile upon its face.

With an easy, sweet-tempered touch against his two colored shoulder with her own of freshly fallen snow, she touches him in response to his statement about running. “It’s okay, another time,” she says kindly, eyes falling across his body, looking for injuries, unaware of what was happening inside his head.

She follows his gaze around the kingdom, attempting to think of something the two of them could do, after all, it would be a shame to waste such a radiant day. Then, her face lights up in the way it seems so often to as an idea comes to her, but she wonders if it would be possible to do in a snowy climate. Gaze returns to him, eyes peering up at him beneath long, feminine lashes. “Well, since Ive never lived near the ocean, there’s something I have always wanted to do,” she pauses for a moment, her gaze flutters towards the ocean before returning to Orkaan. “Do you think, down by the shore, we could look for seashells?” She asks, a little embarrassed, thinking her request may be silly. Surely, a king has more important things to do than look for shells, but she had to ask, for if anyone would walk along the shoreline with her, to the tune of crashing whitecaps, it would be Orkaan.
