Several users have reported issues with captcha and adverts on boards. We've lodged a complaint with B2G about the captcha issue so hopefully will hear from them soon.
If you are experiencing large and obnoxious adverts, please ensure you have adblocker extensions turned OFF on Boards2Go. B2G have a new system which looks up whether users have Adblocker turned on/off. If you have adblocker turned off, you will only see small, unobtrusive adverts. If you have it turned on, B2G will give you adverts which can circumvent the adblocker and which are much more obnoxious and obtrusive.
If you have your adblocker off and you are still experiencing large and/or obnoxious adverts, please DM me or post on Chat with the following information:
- Your browser
- The board you saw the ads on
- Screenshot if possible and if not then a brief description about why the ad was a problem (too large, redirects, causing viruses etc)
If you previously had adblocker on and you find that turning it off fixes the problem, please let me know too.
