Fainting was never something the white and grey ess normally did. Of course, no one ever really fainted as something that they did. But during her unconscious state the fairy like ess found herself in a dream state. It was back when she first got the position as Queen at her old pack. At first she thought it was real, she could smell all the scents, could see everyone, could even taste the air. It gave her a sense of warmth inside. Of course this warmth could have been coming from the outside where Kershov now curled around her, bathing her bodice to rid it of excess water. But she didn't know that, right now she was back home and she was standing on the high rocks they used to have meetings. Voices rose to her audits as she held her tail and posture in alphess position. Wolves below voiced their approval of their new Queen. Voiced how they thought she was the best fit. Now whether she was or not would be up to them in the future.
Then she was a few years in the future when the great famine spread along their land. No one had food, barely any water and wolves were fighting each other for food as she and her Beta were in her den, talking up a plan. "I know it's probably not the best decision but I think we should move. Uproot the clan and get somewhere with more to eat. Pups are coming and that means more mouths to feed. We need to leave" her beta was speaking softly to her, trying to coarse her to uproot their pack. It worked. But she would come to regret it. She announced it to the pack and that night their home was barren. Outside her mind, in the real world, her fairy like ess twitched here and there. At one point she seemed as if she were pressing closer to Kershov but in her mind she was pressing closer to her beta.
A giant breath went into her maw, simulating a gasp as the ess jolted back to consciousness. This time truly pressing closer to the ice dragga, looking for warmth like a pup looking for its mothers milk. Her bodice still trembled but this time just from the cold, even though some of the excess water was gone.
