He talks about being cautious, but was this not supposed to be the land where they would be safe? He seems to be confused by her, whether by her coloration or her words, and she looks down upon herself, before looking back up at him. She was a princess, what needle was there for her to be cautious? She had her guards… But she didn't, did she? Zawyne looked about, and realized that only the rainbows had made it through the portal, and that none of the tempests had. She and her sister had always push the boundaries, stretched the rules for their own uses. They felt claustrophobic within the confines of the castle at best, and imprisoned at worst… All they wanted was to be free to be themselves. Or at least that was what Losa wanted, and because that was what she wanted, that was also what Zawyne wanted. Her big sister was her role model, her best friend. She wanted to be just like her.

But if there were no tempests here… Who was to protect them? Especially given that the stranger spoke of dangers that Zawyne was clearly unprepared for. The only evil she had ever known until recently where the vampires-but in the castle, they were safe from such things. There were too many sets, too many tiers of guards for a vampire ever to even get a look at any of the royalty. There were no wars with other parks, other clans. As long as there were rainbows around, everyone was happy, blessed, calm. They appreciated everything at the world had offered. The castle had even prepared for the unlikely possibility of a tempest coming in contact with a rainbow one too many times and turning themselves. It was rare, but it happens sometimes, especially when they were acting as a shield for the rainbows, and knocked them out of the way. Most of the time, all they needed was a period to cool down and be separated from the rainbows, but some, especially the Haelds , were not as resistant as others. But what they had not plan for was the most unlikely of possibilities-something that was unheard of and had never happened before… That a Tempest's soulmate was one of his bonded Arcus Irae. The attack therefore, had come from within. There had been no visible change, and yet everything had changed. That was why they had fled, but would they be any safer here? Or would the world at large prove to be even more dangerous than Duma himself?

At last, the stranger had introduced himself, giving his name. It was not one that she had heard before, but then again, she had a feeling that his name had something to do with the night. It was not so with the rainbows, They were given their common names, but there royal names were vibrant and beautiful, meant to chase away any darkness that would dare to taint them. "It is very nice to meet you Noctis! As I said I am princess Zawyne. I was born Weargraede Maedwe, the Fire Meadow, but it is only ever used for official things like ceremonies since it is so long! It's pretty though isn't it?" how beautiful and unique was the innocence of a pup, especially one touched by so much pain and horror. Despite it all, she remained with her positive outlook, and was still able to smile. After she had fallen silent, she had been asked another question-how exactly had she been separated from her sister. Though she was as always, bright and cheery, at the mention of her missing sister, her smile faded. " we were running from Duma, and the portal had been opened. We had to pass through it in order to leave our kingdom and come here, but when we reached this place sadly it was all different. A few of us had come through, as my sister and I saved many of the pups in the nursery, But now I don't know where they are. Speaking of which, where am I? What is this place?" As if on cue, The next few moments went by slow motion as not one but two other wolves arrived.

The first was a Tempest, an Oferwederen. With his glowing oceans, there could be no mistake. Briefly her mind wondered how he had gotten here, considering they had left without any of their guards, and then her mind switch to concern-was he in league with Duma? But he did not make a move to snatch her, to attack her or to claim her. Instead, he asked after her well-being with genuine concern. Zawyne smiled at him-he was not bonded to her, she could tell. But still, it was his role to protect her, so at least there was that. Before she could answer however, the second wolf arrived and a high-pitched squeal that could not be described as any actual set of words left the little princesses mouth.

Losa was no less happy to see her sister, and the tiny princess leaned up as her sisters limbs surrounded her, and nuzzled against Losa's chest. Losa's tears wetted the top of Zawyne's head, flattening down some of her for, but the little princess did not care… She was back with her sister. At least one piece of the puzzle was once again completed. Their elated reunion was short-lived however, for she could feel her sister stiffening up and as the faeling glanced up, she could see her sister puffed up as much as she could. She thought that this tempest was here to hurt them…

"Quiet down my love, Sister mine! This wolf here is Noctis, he kept me company and was even going to help me look for you! And this is Ofer... well I don't know his name yet, but he doesn't smell like Duma. I don't think he is bad!"
