My cousin lives in East Haven towards the municipal golf course in New Haven. It starts to get wooded but as the crow flies he is in urban New Haven in under 1/2 mile. He spotted a mountain lion and a cub crossing the street last week. He's a wildlife officianado and checked the tail right off. He stated he found predator scar with deer hair nearby recently too.
