The muffled sound of hooves is followed by a familiar voice in the night air, she swivels her delicate crown to find a familiar face. Valve. "Don't! The words burst through the air between them. A'idah pauses in her steps, and swallows hard as she realizes what she had done. She can still taste the bitterness of the strange grasses. Normal circumstances would of had her think twice before greedily eating the blades, but she has been so hungry the last few months.

"Valve! What have I done?" A note of fear can be heard in her voice. She takes a step towards Valve, panic causes her eyes to ring in white. She swallows hard, and tries to gather her thoughts. What had she eaten? What was wrong with the grasses here in the Dunes?

A soft breeze ruffles her blonde tresses and reveals a cold sweat that has begun to break out beneath her mess of mane. Her eyes settle on the face of Valve, she has it seems always been there for A'idah. She closes the distance between them, as she stands nearer to the mare. A'idah takes notices of the gauntness in her ribs.
