He loved seeing Malleah like this. She practically glowed when she was around Lucia. It was a great look for her. He could watch them all day together and be in heaven. He knew there were plenty of secrets that Malleah was keeping but as long as she was keeping them for the right reasons, he didn't care. At least that's what he kept telling himself. Sure, he wanted them to be open and honest with one another but then that would mean telling her about his history with Azure too. He was almost ready for that, he felt, but he wouldn't rush her on sharing her secrets with him. When she gave him that smile, he knew that meant that she had noticed him observing her and she was trying to reassure him. It would have to do for now. He responded with a smile of his own, his eyes softening as they only did for her. Malleah said that they could try to find more puppies for Lucia to play with and she certainly seemed to like the idea, squealing like a school girl. He chuckled.
