Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Matianak had decided to escape the confines of Glorall for a time. The summer was just a dry heat son far. As such, she needed away from it. As she drew along the easy trails from her pack through the Grotto and eventually made it to the Crags. On the surface, it was hot, true to the season, but as she drew nearer and nearer to the northeastern most section where waterfalls toppled over the rocks into several small ponds it was cooler. This was much better!

The dark grey wolf smiled, a kind one for her normal features. Nothing to be angry at today. The young female padded along, skirting the edges of the pond with a natural grace, almost as if she was dancing. Of course, closer inspection revealed the movements were agile bobs, weaves, as if she were sparring with some invisible force. One day, she would always tell herself. Whole her sister's death at anyone else's paws would be pleasant, she would still be furious. That was something for Matianak along, and she would willing crush any who stood in her way.

So, she danced. Her pale eyes fierce, her movements deliberate. One day, there would be no stopping her. And so, that made today a good day.
