She had given birth a while back now. So early in the season the snow still was happening around the mountain at least. Now her pups were starting to wander around the den, and she didn’t need to give them all the attention she since did though they still relied on her milk for sustenance. She found herself eating more, and providing herself with all the small meals possible. Thankfully, Alistair wasn’t far either and now and then he would bring a treat from Taviora’s currently bountiful prey for her to eat. He was good, even if they weren’t mates, they were still imprints, and he did his best to care for her, Salem, Aristotle and Alla. They were all wonderful children. Sometimes she worried for them walking around the rocks. She heard rockslides happened not along ago after all that claimed the lives of a wolfess on the same side she was now denned on, yet she thought also it would be okay for now.
However, her own condition made it hard for her to take care of the other wolves who had given birth. Thankfully Niviaq was still doing okay, and Moonstone’s own brith had gone smoothly. Thus far it seemed Spirane was blessed with good luck meaning that the births over all had gone well with healthy puppies to boot. Today she was resting at her den, not far she could hear the squeals of her children at play in the wooded area near by close to the Taviora-Spirane border. She could look down at them from here, though she is distracted then by a howl, a call telling someone that they had given birth. Perhaps she could check in on this mother? Moonstone had called to her children to not wander far before gathering her own herbal supplies and started making her way up the mountain.
She thought it was a bit higher up at that she had heard the call. Part of her wondered if it was yet again another good birth. It took her a while to find the location of the den, but she didn't’ get to the den when she saw the wolfess on the ground on her path towards it. She looked fine there was no strong scent of blood, nothing really obvious.
The den entrance was… very small, at least to Moonstone it was, so she had to make due with laying the wolfess at the entrance again, gently rolling her from her shoulders and too the ground. She didn’t know what was wrong, there was no excessive smell of blood that would indicate injury from birth. She simply was really weak.
