then we'll lie, cheat, steal and murder everything
lucian - demon - of age - loyal to wudubearo - no heart
we have dark, tarred souls underneath
The obsidian devil had remained silent after his initial words, spheres of crimson narrowed in the direction of the foreigner. The beast broke their competitive stare, however, when the opposer’s phrase was uttered, and the intense demeanor that Lucian usually maintains is shattered. In spite of his habitual silence, his booming and thunderous laughter surge through the air, mixing in with the violent crashing of the waves. He chooses to abandon his post along the shallow waters, his massive silhouette maneuvering closer towards the shore and towards the male before him, although Lucian is always cautious to retain a decent and comfortable distance from the other.
“Suicide, you say? If I wanted to die, I’m quite sure that I would not choose for my life to be taken by the hands of this ocean. I’d go out with a bang.” Lucian’s red hues are ignited now and full of passion. He scoffs softly beneath his air, however, it is more directed at the thought of suicide rather than the male. “What an undesirable way to die, by drowning. Don't you think? I’d rather piss off a few wolves on my way out… In most cases, getting ripped to shreds is much quicker.” A mischievous grin spread across his heavy jaws. “Regardless, I must admit that I have no intention of death anytime soon.”
And then his opposite brings up another topic that sends Lucian directly back into his previously deep thoughts. “Magic?,” Lucian’s voice falls empty now as he rolls the word along his tongue. He’d never considered the option… but, could it be? The idea of magic seemed impractical; but then again, so had everything else that had taken place within the land. Rich hues of crimson shift to search the dangerous waters once more, always alert and seeking any type of change. “I’m not quite sure that it is magic… but I suppose it very well could be.” The idea of magic certainly didn’t make sense to the demon, but his mind lacked a scientific reason, a natural cause to the modifications that he’d acknowledged. He shook his heavy cranium softly in what seemed to be defeat. His spheres reached to seek the brute’s again. “I’m afraid that the lake… well, ocean, has not been the only change. I’m assuming that you are a newcomer to these lands, so I must inform you that everything is much different. In fact, I haven’t found a single landscape that hasn’t yet been altered,” Lucian admitted. “My own home has changed as well. Although, I do suppose that the pack’s changes were for the best… the landscape seemed to thrive rather than wither.”
The onyx devil begins to navigate further way from the roaring water now, pulling Lucian deeper into the sand covered terrain. Irritated, Lucian takes into account the minuscule speckles that consume his massive paws and appendages, beginning to collect between his digits. What a nuisance. His chest heaves in a gentle huff to himself. Then his large crown tilts to peer across his shoulder at the other male, should be have chosen to follow him. "So, stranger, tell me. Who are you?" His rich vocals spiral through the salt-filled air. "My name is Lucian." he offers to the male, and then his lyrics fall silent, his obsidian auds awaiting the brute's response.
"if you don't want to dwell in the light, then dwell in the shadows with me."
