Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Kajika continued to practice, continued to hone his skills. The brindled boy knew what he planned to do, both personally and for the pack. His hunting skills continued to grow, especially in the way of tracking and using his environment in as many ways possible to trail his prey. Not unlike what had been done to him what seemed like ages ago. The only visible sign of that encounter was a healed, but quite clearly tattered, right ear. He had grown since then. Granted, it didn't seem like much, with his smaller stature but long legs. Kajika was built to hunt, built for speed.

Today was just another day for him. The crispness of fall was not lost on him. He rather liked the transitional days as things shifted from one season to the next. Those had since past as the beginnings of winter would soon be upon them. He took easy strides in relative silence through the Crags. Kajika much preferred the forest, a place where he was far more familiar with his surroundings, and it provided much better concealment. This was another training session for him. A wolf hunting in the forest was one thing. A wolf hunting where things were more open was another. Minimal vegetation and cover was something he had noted as he padded along, ears swiveling this way and that, his gaze constantly surveying the area to his left, right, and ahead of him.

It was in one of those passing moments, his cerulean eyes spied another in the setting sun's light. From this distance, he could not see the familiarity, but something deep within his soul stirred. Kajika's ears laid back for a moment. One of them... The memory of what could have been his end had it not been for his father and Exodus was never lost on him. And yet, that didn't stop him from going forward. He looked towards what few trees there were. The wind was quiet for now. His brow furrowed slightly as he pressed on towards Sekhmet, swinging his path around to the opposite side of the rock she had chosen as her resting place to given himself a bit of cover. Maybe he could get close enough for some answers. Kajika remained mindful of his step, being careful not to alert her with any noise. Given the size difference, brute force was not his strong point, but rather maintaining a distance should he need to get away quickly.
