ISMA has to pay more because you are traveling how many states to race. There is a big difference in the hauler fuel bill driving 5 hours then driving an hour. There is a huge difference between going home after the races or having a place to stay week after week then paying for 1 or 2 nights at a hotel for a few rooms.
I think that's the problem and why you see a limited number of winged races on the Oswego Schedule and overall why ISMA has new tracks on the schedule year after year with other tracks falling off. How can you pay them $30k+ for 14 cars to race. Not a jab at ISMA or Oswego as we can all agree something has to be done. Neither ISMA nor Oswego is affording people the opportunity to make money racing. Its always going to come down to where will you lose less from a business standpoint. Replies:
