Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

A lone filly walks through the sodden landscape of the Lagoon. She pays no attention to the deluge pouring down on her as she ambles along. She does not fit the mold of a typical foal, something that still distresses her mother. There is no sign of a rambunctious or inquisitive child as she moves sedately through the brush.

Silicon has wandered away from her mother, perhaps the first time she has ever had the inclination to do so. Her mind never tells her to do things deliberately; for some reason, she’s just not capable of making those kinds of decisions. Unbeknownst to her, her mother had decided to stay in the Lagoon so that help in raising her would be close by. She’s not a troublesome girl but she can be unknowingly challenging.

Her slow movements look even slower in the pouring rain, and with the angry sky darkening the landscape, she is easy to miss. She is already taking after her dam in build – long, thick limbs with some feathering and a head that looks too big for her developing body. Her chaotic markings are really fitting in describing her mind and the potential for her life.

Even though Silicon is not capable of processing large amounts of information, she knows who her parents are and knows that her father lives here. She hasn’t gone wandering for that reason (reasoning skills are also beyond her), but she responds to the environment better than to her own species.

Her bicolored eyes roam the foliage, rarely blinking despite the droplets on her eyelashes. She’s probably not looking for anything in particular, but it’s the most engaged she’s ever been with her surroundings. If her mother were nearby, she would probably cry at the sight.
