Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Olya had been so confused ever since the entire fiasco that had occurred at Graes Waegholm. She knew she was supposed to stay with Lilith, knew that she was supposed to stay by her side to keep her protected and to do her every bidding. But here she was now, a prisoner of Siku’s… Only she wasn’t a prisoner was she? He had told Lilith that he was keeping Olya as leverage, that he was holding onto her. Only as soon as they left, he had told Olya herself that she was free. And now? Olya was not entirely sure what she was supposed to do, where she was supposed to go, how she was supposed to act. With Lilith and the other kalaks, at least she knew her place. They had always been quite definite on that point. But now with Siku? Now it was all so much more complex. After all… She had been told she was free before, and yet when she had left, she had been dragged back. And there was only one way to test whether that was what would happen to her with Siku - it was to run away. Across the foggy tundra, across planes and fields and swamps she had traveled. Now she was acsending one of the mountains in the long chain that risen from the earth. And as of yet, there were no paw steps chasing after her. And so she kept going, testing it, testing her theory. But he did not come for her. He was not stalking her, nothing of the sort. Olya might not be a good fighter, or be very sneaky, or wise about many things, but she was perceptive as all hell, at least to her surroundings. Body language was a different thing entirely, considering so many of the kalak wolves were experts of deceit. But she knew with all certainty that she was not being followed… And that is when she heard it.

There is a sudden hiss, a spray of shimmering air coming from her left. Olya jumped away from the wall, terrified, but when she turned back to it, she noticed something odd. Fissures in the cliff face had formed in a beautiful array of colors, and through those very fissures now spouted a fine sheen of steam. Only it had not been hot when it hit her… It had made her feel tingly. Drawn to it, only a step toward it… But immediately she began to feel drowsy. Her eyes rolled back into her head and she laid down on the forest floor, as if preparing for a night of rest. She did not even fight it… Because for once, she felt completely at peace. For once, all of her worries and cares were gone, and did not matter anymore.
