Bilateral eyelids Herpes simplex infection Posted on December 6, 2017 at 04:02:09 by A
Hello everyone,
Two months ago, a patient with Atopic Dermatitis (otherwise healthy) complained of severe bilateral eyelids Herpes simplex infection, and was treated successfully by oral & local Acyclovir.
This infection recurred aggressively ten days ago and it did not respond to oral and local Acyclovir.
What do you recommend? And what is the PROPHYLACTIC DOSE of Acyclovir to prevent recurrence, and for how long time?
Kind regards. Replies: There have been no replies.
