Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Anatola had taken the time to wander Moladin this year, using summer and fall to appropriately stockpile her stores for winter. She had acquired a number of new herbs and was going to experiment with different tree nuts that had fallen. After having met a wolf with mind troubles, she wanted to look into it more. The only problem she had now was a wolf that she might help with these issues was nowhere to be found. Plus, she did not know their potency, and in turn their dosing. Still, there were some things she could try herself, but others she needed someone she could observe. It was only a mild hiccup that the three-legged female would eventually get past.

As much as her mind was on possibilities, the black and white patchwork female had not been paying proper mind to the weather. The end result, she still had yet to reach her refuge in The Grotto before the blizzards struck. She was lucky to find a break in the crags to give her some respite from the wind as the snows covered the area with unrelenting ferocity. Her ears were pinned against her skull in an attempt to shield them from the loud, howling winds. What she didn't realize as she lay curled up against the cold just how much snow had fallen. So much so, that Ana had drifted off to sleep, only to wake in the morning to feet of snow on the ground. Thankfully, since the opening she had chosen did not to deep, she was able to work her way out of the snow.

Ana peeked her head out of the currently soft fluff, yellow eyes peering about. The storm had let up for now. She breathed a sigh of relief as she began her trudge through snow that went past her head in places. No doubt it was going to be a long day if the sun didn't melt some of the surface snows to make travelling by day easier. So long as she made it to the Grotto by nightfall, all would be well. Ana could only hope no one else had gotten caught in the storm like she had.
