Her violet and golden eyes watched him cautiously as he laid down on his perch and her eyes narrowed at his question. “Don’t you listen? The rocks are sharp,” Taking a step forward while she spoke she has misinterpreted the fact her paws were perched on a rock as she fell forward planting her muzzle, followed up to her shoulders into the snow. Her growl echoed as she withdrew her face shaking most of the snow off of her nose she cursed herself. This was her punishment for trying to help someone. Even if she wished to run away it would be a task in the deep snow and so she glared at him. “That is why this isn’t a place to play. Laugh and I are going to bite your tail.” She warned with a barred tooth as she moved back to her rock aiming to cling to the safety away from the chill that now more than ever soaked into her bones.
The woman sighed in frustration attempting to shake out her coat to some degree at the very least. “What brings you out this way on a day like this, aren’t you cold?” Inara wasn’t one for small talk really, perhaps she cursed the fact she was never around many others in her life but she still made an attempt. Wrapping her tail around her she laid her head on her forelimbs that clung desperately to the rock face that managed to support her weight with ease. She huffed and decided this simply wouldn’t do. Hopping down where the snow drift was already moved she turned and headed towards her right offering a curious glance before calling out to him, “If you should like to speak I am going someplace warmer and dry. Play in the rocks if you like.” It was an invitation even to see if the male would follow her after all was someone's company not something to be shared in the season's winter days? Perhaps she was acting a little like a youthful brat but she couldn’t find much fun in being covered in snow and making a fool of herself.
