Mountain lion roar

We live in Gorham, Maine and as my husband was walking home from his brother's house at 12am, he heard a roaring sound. He came home and asked what kind of wild cats live in Maine. We listened to different sounds of cats that live here and came across the mountain lion roar. Before I could say what animal it was, he said that it sounded exactly like it. Makes me wonder if there are some still around. If so, be careful!
