Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Draygo only grinned as the fawn's ear slowly peeled from the rest of it's head. The tiny beast squirmed and squealed in a futile attempt to get away. He was heavier than his quarry, and the mother had yet to return, so there was no need to end his fun earlier and take it away from here. He grabbed onto a loose piece of skin near where the ear had been removed and slowly began to peel fur and skin away from flesh on the skull, though some bits did tear deeper as there was not much meat between skin and bone on the head, revealing parts of it as he did.

The rusty colored male paused suddenly, placing a paw over the fawn's eyes momentarily. There was movement nearby, and if the doe had returned, he would need to grab and run. Even their feet could be problematic when one was distracted. But it was not the doe, nor any other prey animal for that matter. His pale green eyes focused on the source of the voice. She seemed well placed amidst the trees, but her light fur gave her away.

Her statement only allowed his grin to grow. "It's only playing wrong if you aren't enjoying it," Draygo said with a light swish of his tail. The brute still maintained his grin, returning to peeling away the strip of skin he'd had before, this time his eyes locked on to Eto. He stopped only when it separated completely from the fawn's face. "Other creatures are more fun, some scream quite loud," the twisted male said with a chuckle.
