Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Zelda

It might have been unexpected, for Zelda herself it was still somewhat unexpected. Though her family was certainly a loving and open type of family she didn’t really invade others personal spaces unless she knew it was welcomed or needed. Perhaps it was because she needed it though. To feel the warmth of his touch the movements of body, the, well perhaps not exactly slow rise and fall of his chest. He seemed to stiffen at it at first as if he himself was uncertain and she wouldn’t keep him trapped like this longer than she needed. She herself felt relaxed and much better. Part of her could tell he wasn’t all anxious about it, but perhaps it was proof she should get closer to him more often. He probably wasn’t used to this kind of attention at all from hardly anyone. Zelda was pretty sure it was a bit of a shock to have her, well, be so forward. She always was, in a way, with him though. Comfortable with his presence since the day they had been bound together. He was always so nervous though, as if he wasn’t sure where his place was, to be honest, Zelda wasn’t sure either. He was important though, and she wanted him close, but how close, she had yet to determine.

He leans in though, giving a few nudges behind the ear. They were almost the same in size after all, it wasn’t exactly hard. Him being a little taller and certainly more masculine compared to her own very fluffy, delicately built frame. She sighed a bit, feeling a fair bit better now. Slowly she stepped back again saying what she had come for. He was so down on himself. She guessed show now knew how everyone felt regarding her in some ways. She never thought herself as anyone special. He didn’t seem to think he was either. But he was. To her. To his sister. They at the very least found him very important. She felt a little bad in the past now for thinking herself less than that, maybe not for herself, but for their sakes she should value herself a little more. She nodded though at his reply though he seemed to shrink a little.

A frown touched Zelda’s features, knowing how he felt. ”It’s okay. You live another day to help another way. We just have to figure out what.” She encouraged him raising her own paw to lift his chin so that their eyes could meet once more. ”I’ve been there too… but, we can help. Promise.” A smile touched her lips, albeit a somber one. She meant it though, soon as they were home, he could see his sister then if he wanted perhaps he could help think of ways to get them back that didn’t involve running blindly in as Halcyon had… obviously that wasn’t going to work. Unless Zelda rallied the whole pack to go against his. That was the last thing she wanted though. War… Bloodshed. Loss of life… Yes.. she wanted those pups back as much as any wolf with a heart did, but what really was he doing otherwise? Since taking over he had not harmed any wolves outside of the pack. It wasn’t bad… yet.

At least Lazarus was okay though. Something she heard from him as she made sure of his well being. Good. At least that personal vendetta didn’t need to be established. Zelda worried what she would have to do if pushed. She hadn’t been tried yet, but she knew she would ultimately come through for her loved ones, her family-the pack. Her smile softened all the more then when he said they weren’t safe. Yes… he was right. It was funny how quick he turned from being nervous with her protecting him to the other way around.

He stood up giving her a nudge towards where the forest was out in the distance of the rocks. ”You’re right… let’s go home.” Zelda said smiling her form drawing up alongside his but taking the lead. Her paws carried her with ease over the rocks and back towards the forest that was her home, their home she guessed it was now.
