Sinsof the father

He didn't think his question could been seen as offinsive and her answer still didn't alert him to the button he had pressed. He did not pay attention to the small detail of her lip movement, but he did, at least, listen to her words. She must be a mare that felt herself equal to males, but of course most did. This was why he fought with mares all the time and had butted heads with his former mate on the islands. Mares were always trying to prove themselves where stallions were born with the approval among the mares, but struggled amongst themselves (at least in his mind this is how it worked). There was always one mare who protested this theory, but these islands seemed to the birth home of those mares. Never had he met so many strong headed woman in one place!

Their conversation was going fine until she mentioned the Bay's Queen. It took all he had to keep his cool, but he managed it. This tall of Mariael would have to be short and sweet or risk saying something he didn't want getting back to the mare. "I have met her, but just once. She seems like a capable Queen." He almost chocked on the word capable. For a moment he just stared at Freya and her blue eyed boy hidden behind her. The boy had a right to be afraid. Warsaw took a sniff at the mare and son. Freya mostly stunk of sea water, but there was the faint traces of others on her skin as well as trees unfamiliar to Tunivel. It raised the question where she was living after her reign on this very dirt.

She must know the Inlet well, better than he if he would admit it. She had qualites he needed in a mate and she knew how to lead under - I mean with - a stallion. "I don't know where you live now, but would you ever consider moving back to Tunivel? More specifically, the Inlet." His lips closed for a moment while he allowed her to think. His hope was that she had a special place for the island and he could convince her to stay. A few minutes passed before he begun again, feeling like he needed to make a good argument.

"Besides Mariael I've seen no one else here and your knowledge of the island would be useful. Your son is welcome as well, I'll even teach him how to be a proper stallion." Funny. He never imagined he would be offering another stallion's blood help. Either he was getting too into this ploy of his or his just really wanted this mare. "You could even stay as my Queen." Okay, he just really wanted this mare.
