Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

: Ame :
with every rain comes a fresh breath of life

All his thoughts about females had quickly been dashed and put aside. While he didn’t understand that this was exactly the reason he hadn’t met “the one” as his father would have put it, the work driven and loyal friend of Halcyon quickly shifted gears upon seeing the situation for what it was. His visage was serious his ears pinned forward as to not miss a single word spoken by his russet hued friend. It had been a long time since Ame had seen him, but it always was like that and how was it every time he DID see him he looked a mess? Ame felt bad two times his friend had been an alpha now and neither time did Ame go and see him and check upon his well being when he was at the height of Moladion. Ame had no desires to be an alpha, or even part of a pack again really. He was a wanderer, out there to help the lives of those that were out here as much as he was, as well as the wildlife as well. His mother had imparted much to him after all, as had his father, but it was his mother that helped him figure out where his place was in the world more so than his father who just would have been as happy having his son stay and follow in his footsteps as a great healer.

Healing was important, it certainly helped keep him and those other species he found healthy, something Halcyon clearly needed already, though it did appear that he had been patched up already. Though his words were making little sense to Ame. His brows knit as his friend said that someone was going to kill his son if he attacked him. He shook his head slightly, did he mean the wolf in Asteraia? No, he thought that had been peaceful, rather than asking questions though Ame waited listening. Iromar?

”This One is not understanding. You children are being held captive in Iromar? Is that why the scents had changed so suddenly?” Sure he knew about the smells, but being a loner he hadn’t yet caught wind of what exactly had happened. He didn’t know that children had been captured and held hostage there, nor that among those children Aster and Halcyon’s had been among the number. Ame would help of course, but not before knowing the full situation. He wasn’t about to storm a pack full of wolves and die without need.

”This One of course will help you, Halcyon. Though This One is worried that two is not enough. Covertness is good… but This One feels like we need a place to go just in case something goes… wrong.” His eyes were dead set into Halcyons. ”You are understanding what This One is saying. Together we might die if we are caught. Strong as This One is, as you are it might not be enough. So This One needs to know everything you know. We need a plan.” His mind at first turned to Diveen, but then he thought about his father how he would be so angry at him for doing something so… foolish, for foolish it was for two wolves to go storm a pack together. Especially seeing as Ame was starting to put together this wolf didn’t exactly have a lot of honor if he ascended to the throne in the manner Ame was starting to put together. His head went low, his eyes moving about as he thought about it. Oddly enough Spirane was his second thought, but was he wanting to involve them? He found his mind drifting to Kalseru, the Queen there, their nice chat at the ball, and by the riverside. At the very least, he wanted to speak to her before he went. If he was going on a fool’s errand, at the very least he wanted to speak with her again.
