PERSEPHONE

Persephone watched Warsaw carefully as he dropped his gaze. He looked as if he meant the words, even though it was hard for her to believe he really hadn’t thought about any of this before he did it. But it was too late to change that decision, and they had much else they could learn from each other in the meantime.

Warsaw’s interest seemed fixed on women. Persephone wondered why – perhaps the idea was foreign to him, but even so it seemed obsessive. Was he up to something? She wasn’t sure, but if he was Persephone was hard pressed to imagine a single man stood a chance against the rest of the herds.

“Salem was run by Queens, too, although I have not heard from them in some time. They may have moved on. Atlantis is the only island I have yet to visit, I don’t know who rules there.” she replied simply.

She had no reason not to share the information yet, but she was still somewhat wary and kept the information short.

“Have you been to any of the other islands?” she asked, tilting her head.
