The swim to Tinuvel was a long one. One that called on the reserved energy that the desert stallion carried in his muscular legs as he pushed from the tepid waters that surrounded Salem and into the icy cold that seemed to forever envelope the northern most island. Truthfully, were the need not necessary, Rougaru would never have come here... but there were matters to attend to and well, his curiosity demanded he check it out.

Rumors were flying of a grey stallion that called the Inlet his home. A stallion who, like himself, was out to make a name for himself and well, that intrigued Rougaru. Too many mares were running herds these days and well, he didn't like it too much. Perhaps it was because he spent so long as a bachelor favoring brotherhood above such foolish notions as love and commitment, perhaps it was simply that he couldn't stand the look of cocky lordship he had seen in the eyes of mares these days. Whatever the true intention was, none the less he found himself being pulled from the surf and onto the rocky beach of the Inlet.

Paper thin nostrils flare as the chocolate colored stallion lets his senses take in the different smells that came to him on the cold breeze. Winter was here, the air was thick with impending snow and he could almost taste the musk of dead grass and the sharpness of the conifer and pines. Odors far different from his desert home.

For a moment he considers taking himself into the shelter of the pines just beyond the beach... but he did not want to offend this Warsaw. Instead he remains where he is and waits... if this stallion was anything like the rumors said, he would find him soon enough.
