a bit of poison, a bit of powder
There has always been a certain grace in Arace that was exacerbated by her assassin training. The entirety of her life had been built around missions. There was an honor in completely tasks and keeping ones word. The same honor that had kept her mouth shut when Iromar had captured her and tortured her. They didn't need to know who had hired her because they were more worried about revenge. Not that she blamed them. All except for that dastardly Curiass who had taken such joy in her torture. The bastard deserved a slow, painful death. Maybe one day she could be the one to give it to him.
Her front right paw had been broken in the attack and although it had healed, it gave her residual pain frequently. All it took was twisting her foot the wrong way or stepping on a particularly narrow edge like the rock she just stepped on. With a scowl she steps to the side quickly, lifting her paw a bit, while at the same moment Exodus stands. Her head snaps to the left, yellow eyes focusing upon him even as she immediately scents the air. Exodus. She knew this wolf. Pet of Azure. Well, not pet, but male? Mate? Arace was not privy to the details but she had known that the leader had kept a keen interest in the male. Yet his scent was not twined with Azure's. It reeked of another wolf, one that was familiar but not to her.
His words further prove the point and her lips twitch in a sly but coy smile.
"Ah, you must be talking of our illustrious leader." Her words are purring, falling back on her own beauty and skills by trade while she watches him.
"The answer to your question is no. I left her service a few years back and found myself in this accursed place. I have to wonder though... how did YOU manage to get away, hmm? If I remember correctly, she watched you like a hawk. You were the mouse in that analogy by the way." She laughs then, a low mocking one, though there is a sort of relaxed slant to her shoulders that reveals she is not here to fight. Not unless he picks one.
