“I come from a distant land, many have not heard of it.” He doesn’t even bother to tell her the name of it; he knows she will look upon him with confusion, and he doesn’t want to remember the place he has lost. There’s no point in looking back, after all.
Reaching forward, Kasan lips playfully, gently, at the golden woman’s dark tresses, a light smile tugging his lips upward.
“If you have no home, and I have no home, then perhaps we should team up, and find a home.” He had no intention of claiming her for his own, but it seemed only logical that they should stick together; in the most dire of situations, there was safety in numbers.
And how can he object to having such a pleasant companion by his side? She has been more than receptive to his company, a beacon of light among the darkness that had plagued him these past few days. Not to mention, it seemed the Islands were ripe for the taking - and of course he intended to take what he could, while he could.
