NATURE BARRIE TINY MARSH OUTING

Saturday May 12th. **SPRING MIGRATION AT TINY MARSH**
Depart 7:00 am from Little Lake Parking Lot Don Scanlan 705-726-6591

This is one of our regions "WOW!" spots for wildlife. Winged or otherwise. Tiny Marsh might be the richest spot for birds in Simcoe County. It’s in Tiny Township, but it’s a giant wetland with a great diversity of nesting birds. Surrounding the marshes are various swamps and woods, and these too, host many birds, especially migrants like warblers, vireos, and flycatchers. Migration peaks in mid-May, and this is a great chance to see many species. Pack a lunch. Easy walking on the boardwalks and berms.

Please feel free to bring your family out. They will learn so much on this outing. No pets please.

Car Pool – On many trips it is advisable to car pool at the rally point in order to reduce the number of vehicles traveling together. Pooling also makes it easier for the leaders to keep track of the participants.
It is most appropriate to offer your driver recompense for her fuel expenses

Happy Trails! : ) -NATURE BARRIE
