War is a game that is played with a smile

The smoky black mare painted with white began to step towards him. Cap didn't feel any tension so he stayed relaxed and unafraid as her larger form got closer to his short, skinny one. She was very tall for a mare. Cap hasn't seen many females her height, but he made sure not to comment on her size. If it was one thing he has learned in his many years of Living it was to not point out a woman's appearance. The mare began to circle and him and he felt cornered, but still he did not tense up. He was no harm to her or her family and there was no reason for a fight he couldn't handle.

The female speaks and his curved ears draw back slightly. She made his comment sound dumb, but he knew that wasn't true. He only meant to comment on the lack of equine life when this place used to flurish with it. "Of course, but I was only referring to our species." He says, but she is soon talking again and mentioning she understood what he was saying. His ears straightened back on top of his crown, but he was still a bit annoyed at her womanly charm.

Silence befalled them for a few minutes and this gave him enough time to collect himself. His weight shifted to be more comfortable just as her voice lifted with a question. He nods his distinguished skull before agreeing to the brief exhange of scents. He didn't mind her getting so close and unlike most, he didn't find any sexual thoughts cross his mind. As they parted his lips opened and he answered her question verbally. "I am. A long time ago I lead Paradise, but now I reside in the Dunes. I just came to see how the place faired, take a walk down memory lane." Soon after his lips closed the stallion behind his the mare spoke up. His voice almost sounded sceptical, but in this moment Cap belived this mare to be his Queen and new ruler of Paradise.

His eyes directed towards the young man as he answered his question."My name is Capricorn. I was born in a valley far from these islands, but my family and I traveled here some time ago. We split different ways, I ended up leaving shortly after my rule of Paradise and I have just now returned." He didn't care to explain himself. He had nothing to hide. His head dipped to the young stallion who was probably just being protective of his leader. "That is about all there is to me."
