Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Grimoire’s sharp ears located Eden first. The pat of his paw-steps gave her a dose of joy; they even seemed a bit determined to reach her. He was in excellent health. His intelligent stare was marvelous! She had missed it. Those who shared her perspectives were usually quite simple: they reveled only in the physical experiences of bloodshed and flesh. Eden was more miraculous, and she still did not understand him entirely. The puzzle of his motivations and plans were part of the reason Grimoire continued to engage the alpha.

When he paused mid-stride, alert, her head tilted to the left and she returns a perfectly mirror smirk slides onto her smug maw. She enjoyed the brief moments when they gauged each other; the quiet observance between the pair seemed an acknowledgment of their individual lives, and that there were hardships between seeing each other. The tip of Grimoire’s tail waved a subtle greeting - a rare sight to see (Demons were not prone to genuine displays of happiness).

“Well, being not in pain will do wondrous things for a mood,” Grimoire replied humorously, dropping one of her shoulders to purposefully stretch the fur to expose the scars where Orion had tried to rip through her jugular vein, “And so, I am ready to move forward again.”

Grimoire tilted her nose toward Eden, offering to touch his. Her voice weighted with desire, “What trials must I complete to earn you as a mate, Eden?”
