thanks to dema & edel who have been using ambient mixer to create atmospheric sounds for locations in shaman, and the site in general.
I thought it would be a good idea to link these from the site, so location-specific sounds can now be found linked from those boards. currently we have atmospheric sounds linked from the stone dragon and kingswood forest. if anyone wants to create any for other locations, give us the link on the updates board and we'll add them up!
all atmospheric sounds, as well as other useful resources, are also linked from a new external resources page, found under ooc > character development > external resources. this page has sounds, images, html support and writing resources linked from it. some of the writing resources in particular look pretty neat-o, and there are some nice things on there for breaking writer's block or generating muse. if you know of/stumble across any other useful sites which should be linked, let us know.
