The other boy's ears flicked as if unsure which direction his voice came from. Eldrax snorted and opened his mouth to shout again. "Hey, over here!" He yelped in surprise as the ram tried to charge the other wolf, lowering his head but the other male surprised him even more by...doing the same? He tilted his head in clear confusion as the wolf shook his own head as if mocking the ram. Surely he didn't think that would work. Eldrax's brows furrowed. What was he doing? The wolf squared off with the ram as if daring him to charge. Eldrax even noticed him smirking. His ears folded back as he frowned. "Not a good idea..." He muttered to himself. Deciding he needed to do something to distract the ram and save the other wolf, he rushed in behind the ram, calling for attention. Both heard him this time but the wolf only looked more concerned for him than anything else. It was Eldrax' turn to smirk. He swiveled an ear as the male started to speak but he was cut off as the ram suddenly turned to face Eldrax. As he charged, Eldrax yelped, tucking his tail and curling his back end beneath him as he bunny hopped away out of the way just in time. He turned his head just in time to see the other male wolf had run in to ram his shoulder into the ram. His ear swiveled toward him in curiosity even as he made sure he was out of the ram's way. This was....kind of fun! Now they were double teaming the ram! The ram went off balance and stumbled before righting itself but Eldrax knew they only had a little time before it retaliated. He laughed. "Good job! That'll show him!" He watched the other wolf right himself too before jogging over to him and Eldrax gave him a friendly grin, his tail wagging. The male said he startled the ram and Eldrax chuckled. "Guess I'm good at something." He looked over the other wolf, his ears pricked, though one swiveled toward the ram to make sure they were safe for now. The other male seemed amused as the ram turned back toward them but was still uneasy. He smirked back at him. "Yeah, I think so. I'm Eldrax." He figured it was as good a time as ever to introduce himself.
