I was in manchester last year, they are training nurses in casualty for minor cases, minor lids, botox, RoS. They are already doing oct,pentacams, biomtery, scans etc. In south nurses are dong injections. There are glaucoma, amd specialist nurses. I agree with above, its evolving into a consultant led service with specialist and sub-specialty nurses only.
