We should all lobby in favor of making the training supernumerary and consultants to take 1st on call. That way trainees will be demotivated and consultants degraded, making the hospitals rely totally on staff grades! Then we can extort from them what we want from a position of strength! Start talking to your politicians, they love cost cutting!
