- the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
- anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
- adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
- the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
- the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors
I am the nightmare that became reality

Ruger

stallion | 15.3hh | EE aa TT | son of the wolf

When the bugling sound escaped the stallion, cutting through the fog to any others that might be near enough to hear; Ruger did wonder for a moment if Shamwari would understand what he was doing? This wasn’t a time to ponder or think about anything else but the ‘foe’ he faced as the boy spun around to kick out. Dropping down to stand on all four, Ruger tossed his head to the side to keep it safe from any hind hooves that might reach so high and pushed forward again to get up close and personal. It would keep any kicks he received short and blunt without any swing to pack power as lips parted and head snaked out to try and bite hip or back; which ever he could reach.

As the young stallion’s body tensed, shifting to spin back around and face him, Ruger did the same only in the opposite direction. Using Jabari’s momentum and his own as he placed all his weight on his front legs to swing his rear, Ruger’s hip slammed into the stallion’s shoulder with the power of them both; only with Ruger’s size being bigger he was able to add more force. Not stopping there, the painted stallion dug his hooves in and began backing just as quickly as he could to use the impact he had already made to try and shove the hopefully off balanced stallion to the ground. Should this have been a real brawl, Ruger’s tactics would have been a lot more vicious and merciless. But his aim wasn’t to hurt this boy and he had to keep reminding himself that.
