You could but generally not advised. Firstly, you can easily lose view through the 3 mirror unless you are experienced in using one. There is therefore the risk of inadvertently lasering the posterior pole. Second, with wide field view lens you can usually see anteriorly enough. Third, indirect is probably safer in experienced hands.
