Spotted a dead Cougar 8/17/18 in median of route 290 East 2 miles before junction of 495. Cat was 15 feet from edge of high speed lane Laying on its right side with head away from road. tan but the fur was not deer hair - caused me to look again seeing cat face and short round ears. Not a Bobcat (I have a mounted one in my den (shot in Maine) this was a 100 lb animal, didn't see the tail - might have been under the legs. Also not a tan Great Dane - head was cat and legs were larger than a dog. Replies: There have been no replies.
