Tay Township, Between Gervais rd and Rosemount Rd, in the wetland beside the snowmobile trail along the railway berm, wild pink water lilies have been established. The large blossoms are of a pattern very similar to the fragrant white water lily, as are their leaves with the exception that the leaves have more red on top, and a consistent read below. They seem to crowd each other more where they are grouped, curl more (because of crowding?). I've watched them expand in here a couple years.
