 And the cold lonely air. On the rock restless seas. Atlantis. The word felt so foreign, so exotic. Upon first glance of his surroundings, Ruxin mused that it was fitting for the jungle-like terrain, which was encapsulated by mountains on one side and a wide, expansive beach on the other. He wondered how far this island was from Luthien, and the woods where Talya had lived. He wondered how close he was to the mainlands, where the bachelor herd he'd roamed with those many months ago may still be willing to welcome him back. He exhaled slowly, trying to take count of his injuries and the extent of them. He doubted the bachelors would ever wait for him, given his condition. It didn't matter now. Ruxin had no plans to return to his nomadic life on the mainlands. He had braved the seas for a reason: to find his sister. And he did that. He swallowed hard against his red-raw throat as he tried to come to terms with this. At least he got to reconnect with Talya before the end. He snorts once, lingering on that. He wasn't sure if it made things worse or better, having witnessed the end of her life. Roarke is talking again, rambling somewhat, and Ruxin is content to have a distraction from his more melancholy thoughts. The stallion is quite kind, and that is not at all lost on the injured painted stallion. At least he knew he'd have a safe place to rest until he decided what came next. ooc: no worries!! Ruxin is hard for me too. :/ Maybe we can leave it here for now?? My plan is just to have Ruxin wander around Atlantis for a while until I decide what to do with him....
