To help control spam, you have to register before you can start posting. Only your name and a password are required. Enter your real name in the box for "username". This is exactly how your name will appear on the board every time you post a message. Around noon today at the Bracebridge Ponds there was a Carolina Wren in the trees at the east side of cell 1 where there are lots of virginia creeper berries. It was singing its “tea-kettle” song. I tried for a photo but it wouldn’t co-operate. Earlier I did get some photos of lady beetles and an ambush bug, which I will post later. There were two Solitary Sandpipers foraging in the dumping pond east of cell 4 (water levels remain high with no exposed shore in all cells). Several Turkey Vultures were migrating south. You can follow the hawk migration at http://hawkcount.org/ - Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch, Holiday Beach Conservation Area, and High Park are all active in the fall.
