A first year accipiter either a Sharp-shinned or Cooper's Hawk. There are several reasons why I think this is a Cooper's Hawk but it is not always possible to separate these two species from a photo. Dark cap, thin brown breast streaks, thick white tail bands and rounded tail tip says Cooper's. Replies: There have been no replies.
