Our group had a great walk at Nottawasaga Lookout on Saturday morning. We found 14 fern species. Not only did we find the five limestone specialists we were looking for -- Northern Holly Fern, Maidenhair Spleenwort, Green Spleenwort, Walking Fern, and Hart's Tongue Fern -- we also found a sixth -- Slender Cliff Brake.
