10" tail. Not a mountain lion. Not even close. ML tail can touch the ground. I've see bobcats with longish tails, we have a freakishly large bobcat near where I live, decent tail for a mountain lion, big, muscular beautiful cat but still a bobcat.

Once you see one with that thick, long tail, you will be CLEAR that 10" tail is no mountain lion.
