In the interest of getting some information on the 2 candidates running for Firefighter Trustee, I contacted John Cannon and Chris Jones. John is the incumbent having already served 2 terms. He is a Driver Engineer at Station 1B and has 14 years on the job. He is very comfortable with the direction the fund has been taking and plans to maintain the positive status quo of recent years. Chris is a Driver Engineer at Station 15B and has 9 years on the job. He has followed the fund for several years and feels that the use of multiple investment managers should be explored They were both sorry that they would not have the chance to speak to either retiree group.
