What's interesting to me is the American insistence--and even Trump falls into this belief--that the Middle East governments have the same mora;s as ours. If our citizens would llisten to Washington's advice about not getting involved in their affairs, then these Christian missionaries would stay out of situations in which they're jailed and sentenced to death for being revolutionists. But they don't, and cry outrage when foreign justice comes down.
