A one day, hands on approach to the assessment, diagnosis and management of strabismus including:
Small group practical sessions with patients
(Including common clinic and exam cases)
Pre course reading material
Lectures on
Demystifying the orthoptic report
Common presentations of comitant and incomitant strabismus
Surgical and non surgical management of strabismus
Amblyopia and assessment of vision in children
Common examination cases
Interpretation of Hess charts
Suitable for all trainee Ophthalmologists, particularly those about to sit the part 2 RCOphth exam or those wishing to brush up on practical skills in examining strabismus patients.
