I had expected a wide variety of customers. So far confirmed regular suet afficianados have included:
- chickadees (of course)
- m & f downy woodies
- m & f hairy woodies
- m & f red-bellied woodies
In the past, we've had a couple of pileated woodies (aka flying chainsaws), but I think the suet cage is too small for them to grab onto. Now that the blackbirds have gone south, the suet lasts a little longer.
