PERSEPHONE

Persephone returned to Luthien, reflective of the events from her journey to the Crossing. It had been an interesting experience, finally getting around to visiting the Peak. Now she had a little experience of both the single-gender herds on the Lost Islands, and it had been a good exercise to meet some of the Vulcans.

It had also been a good opportunity to meet some new companions, as it turned out, as Persephone recalled her meeting with the young mare, Creed, in the Common. The Forest was so empty and quiet without her old family around her, the companionship had been a change of place and a pleasant one at that.

She hoped the mare might visit her at some point, but regardless it steeled her resolve to stop secluding herself as much and get out and try to meet some new horses.

The thoughts swam around her mind as she made the walk lazily from the shoreline back to the shadowy clutches of the Forest’s outstretched arms.
