A sixth species today (Sunday) Posted on December 9, 2018 at 10:24:33 PM by Alex Mills
I stopped quickly at the Barrie Marina this afternoon (December 9) and there are still huge numbers of gulls there -- mostly Herring. Today, there were six species: Herring, Ring-billed, Great Black-backed, Glaucous, Iceland, and a juvenile Lesser black-backed (quite dark overall, all dark bill, darker head feathering).
