Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

The moonscorned passed from the riverside to the crags without much thought, without much care. There was no reason to, after all. Snow had fallen last night, but she’d found somewhere with enough cover to rest her head. It was enough. It had been enough. The perks of being not so very large, after all, were that you could fit nearly anywhere. Easier to keep yourself warm too. Selene was doing her best to keep herself distracted. Not hard when your head is always in the clouds.

Head in the clouds, feet on the ground. She would learn every inch of this place. All of it. Just as all the other lands she had seen, Selene would conquer them on foot. Had to learn the place, learn the sights and smells and faces. Had to learn what grew here, what prey lived here, what predators were out here. All important things. Everything was important, imperative that she pull in as much information

It would keep the moonscorned from worrying too much about the fact she was cold, and she was alone. The winter would get worse before it got better, that much she knew. Selene carefully made her way up the crags, sure footed but cautious. One wrong step could send her flying, but she was doing her best to navigate on short legs. Mind moving. Body moving. Stay warm. It was all she could do in the grey morning light.
