Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Eden is thoughtful on his approach. He probably knew about Inanna. Why wouldn't he? She left the borders and her scent has grown stale around the den and within the territory itself. Eden might even have seen her leave. When he said that he didn't come to ask for help but to give it, Thor lifted a brow and tilted his head, eying his alpha in question. He wanted to help Thor? All at once he felt both a crushing gratitude and a little bit of self loathing at the same time. He felt incredibly grateful that his pack alpha had come to him in this time of weakness, wanting to help, but at the same time, it was a blow to Thor's ego to know that he was seen as weak in the first place. Maybe Eden didn't see it that way. Maybe he'd even experienced his own bouts of lady blues. Thor didn't know Eden's history past his birth, after all.

"I...um, thank you." He said softly, though he couldn't meet his alpha's gaze. Eden started stretching and Thor reminded himself to breathe. He could tell Eden was only trying to help. Eden said he wanted to help fill up food caches for the winter and Thor smiled, nodding with a wag of his tail. "Thank you. I'm sure Triton will appreciate it. That boy can eat." He said with a twitch of his lips. As he turned toward the borders, Thor nodded and started after him, his gaze finally finding Eden's as he brought up the elephant in the room....Inanna. Thor glanced down and sighed, but at least Eden was asking about a safer subject, Triton. "Triton...is tough. He used to be so independent that we couldn't keep him at the den if we tried but since she left....he's slowed down on the adventures. He stays closer to home, like he thinks he needs to look out for me now."

Thor glanced back up at Eden. "I just want him to be happy and live his life. I don't want him to look back with resentment because he thought I would roll over or something without my mate. I know I'll be okay...eventually. He's just so stubborn that he won't listen." He sighed again, shaking his head as he kept trotting.
